Gana-A'Yoo Foundation

The Gana-A'Yoo Limited scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis. GYL's goal is to assist the best students to continue their post secondary education. It is GYL's philosophy that college students are adults and adults must follow instructions and complete their work on time. GYL uses these criteria to determine whether to accept applications. All applicants are reminded that a completed application with all the attachments must be sent in and postmarked no later than JUNE 30th to be considered.

Not all completed applications are funded each year. The amount and number of scholarships awarded depends on the availability of funds and the number of applications.

GYL scholarships are awarded only once each year. The funds are intended to help support the student for the entire school year. The funds may be used for any purpose which helps the student attend school. The scholarship check will be sent to the school in the name of the student asking the school to confirm full time enrollment. If a student does not attend school in the fall semester or does not enroll as a full time student the scholarship award must be returned to GYL. If that student then re-enrolls as a full time student in the following spring semester the money will be awarded again at the student's request and with confirmation of full time enrollment.
