Open Board Seats

The Gana-A’Yoo, Limited Board of Directors are seeking to fill three open seats on the board. This year’s election requires one director owning class B (Koyukuk) stock and two elected seats must be rural residents. Shareholders are encouraged to consider running for the board. In order to be listed on the proxy, interested shareholders must submit a director’s questionnaire by Sunday, February 17, 2019. 

Current directors’ terms expire in May 2019:

·Rural seat currently held by William Dayton

·Rural seat currently held by Ragine Pilot

·Urban or rural seat currently held by Ida Hildebrand

Director eligibility requirements:

·Must be a shareholder of Gana-A’Yoo, Limited holding voting stock

·Must be at least 18 years of age.

The 2018 Gana-A'Yoo Shareholder Opinion Survey was mailed to all shareholders on December 19th. The survey covers a variety of topics important to shareholders, such as the topic of Descendant Enrollment.  We encourage all shareholders to participate and have your voice heard! Galena Post Office: In May of 2018, Gana-A’Yoo, Limited and Postal Holdings, LLC began negotiations for the land and building where the Post Office resides. On November 2018, the sale was finalized and Postal Holdings, LLC is now the new owner of the Post Office building in Galena, AK.

Our corporate office is now located at 1001 E Benson Blvd., Suite 201 Anchorage, AK 99508.  We are in a secured building and the building hours are from 10am-5pm, in addition, we are closed for lunch from 12pm-1pm. If you arrive at our building before 10am, please call our main office at 907-569-9599.
