Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) will hold its fourth online equipment auction on May 26 and 27, 2026, hosted by Six Mile, LLC (SML). This is first-rate, surplus equipment from our US Antarctic Program work sites shipped directly to Port Hueneme, CA, where it can be viewed prior to purchase.

Where are the items staged?
At building 510, major cross streets are Patterson Rd and Cargo Rd.
The naval installation is not a public facility; you must read the base access information provided to you by Six Mile LLC prior to your arrival.
What are the driving directions to Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) at Port of Hueneme from the Ventura 101 Freeway?
- Traveling to Port Hueneme from the 101 either North or South, exit at Victoria Ave. and proceed south. Follow Victoria Avenue for about 6 miles to the NBVC Victoria Gate entrance.
- Directions to Six Mile LLC from Victoria gate: Take an immediate left on to 23rd Avenue, and then turn right on to Patterson Road. As the road curves left, building 510 is clearly marked on your left.
- Directions to Six Mile LLC from Patterson (alternate) gate: After the sentry, continue straight on Patterson road. As the road curves left, building 510 is clearly marked on your left.
How do I get on the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) installation?
- A Bill of Lading (BOL) will be provided to you for base access. Please read the instructions carefully. The naval installation is not a public facility.
- You MUST obtain security clearance to enter the base. All drivers will be vetted at the gate; this can take up-to 2 hours depending on the base access line, plan accordingly. Security will be conducting a background check on the spot for all drivers, if you do not pass the background check, you will not be allowed on the base.
All vehicles entering or exiting are subject to inspections. If an individual refuses to submit to an inspection upon entry, the individual will not be allowed access. If an individual refuses to submit to an inspection upon departing, he or she will be detained and appropriate action taken.
Will Six Mile, LLC ship the items that I purchase?
No, transportation of purchased items is the responsibility of the buyer.

Are there forklifts available for personal use?
Forklifts are not available for personal use; however, operators are available to load purchased items. Items will not be loaded without a paid receipt.
Operators cannot accept tips.
Why do I have to schedule a pickup time?
It allows us to have the items you purchased ready to load.
You must pick up or arrange for shipment of purchased items within three (3) business days after the close of bidding.
How do I pick up my items?
A Bill of Landing (BOL) will be provided to you for base access. Please read the instructions carefully. The naval installation is not a public facility.
I purchased a vehicle – how do I get the title?
Please notify the office staff of your purchase and additional instructions will be provided to you.
