Gana-A’Yoo, Limited Board of Directors
Role: The Gana-A’Yoo Board of Directors is entrusted with the authority to establish policy for the governance of the corporation. Board policy establishes the parameters and guidelines for the board, board members, board committees, and the interaction between the board, management, and staff.
Eligibility: In order to serve on the board, candidates must:
- Be a shareholder over the age of 18 years old
- Hold the required classes of stock
- Meet residency requirements
Committees
- Compensation Committee (board members only): Oversee Gana-A’Yoo’s compensation plans, policies, and programs.
- Investment Committee (board members only): Preserve long-term wealth while accomplishing the corporation’s mission.
- Executive Committee (board members only): Exercise Board authority except where prohibited by law.
- Natural Resources Committee: Advise on land-use policies, stewardship, development, and resource utilization.
- Shareholder Relations Committee: Advise on shareholder relations policies, programs, and donations.
Gana-A’Yoo Foundation Board of Directors
Role: The Foundation Board of Directors promotes independence for Gana-A’Yoo shareholders and descendants through educational and career opportunities.
Eligibility: To serve on the Foundation board, candidates must be:
- Over the age of 18 years old
Note: Family of board members are not eligible to receive scholarships from the Foundation.
